New Economy Incubator

The New Economy Incubator (UMI) is a brand-new initiative by the Estonian Degrowth organization, aimed at supporting entrepreneurs guided by democratic and inclusive decision-making, environmental conservation, the principle of sufficiency, and social justice. Specifically, this means offering support to cooperatives, providing training in collaborative management and the circular economy, and offering practical advice on the sustainable use of local natural resources and the adoption of simpler, more affordable technologies. We view local governments, regional development centers, organized communities, higher education institutions, and socially conscious philanthropists as our partners.

UMI successfully participated in the "Ideemeistrid" (Idea Masters) Idea Day in May 2026 and is currently preparing a four-week pilot training program.
